Florida Children's Hospital

As a hospital within a hospital, we provide all the advantages of Central Florida’s most preferred health care system, but with a special healing environment designed just for children.  This unique combination of resources enables us to deliver a complete range of dedicated and specialized pediatric health services for our younger patients, while sharing other hospital services such as radiology, surgery and nutrition.  Florida Children’s Hospital is also the only provider of pediatric bone marrow, kidney transplant, and pediatric Gamma Knife services.

By 2009, the Florida Children’s Hospital at Florida Hospital Orlando plans to open a new private, lakeside pediatric Emergency Room along with 19 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds.  Future plans also include expanding to a total of 190 dedicated pediatric beds throughout the Florida Hospital system by 2010.
The planned expansion is part of Florida Hospital’s master design to meet the planned growth in the community.  These projects will be made possible, in part, by the generous philanthropic support of the community.

Florida Hospital has been caring for the Central Florida community for almost 100 years.  It is our commitment to continue to provide the finest care for our patients through the efforts of our exceptional doctors and nurses at Florida Hospital.  As a non-profit, we rely on the generous donations of our community to continue to provide world-class care and expand to meet the growing needs of Central Florida.
