Dr. Boone received academic scholarships to Duke (Angier B. Duke Award) and to UNC-Chapel Hill (Morehead Fellowship) for undergraduate studies and medical school respectively. He subsequently trained in Family Practice at the University of South Carolina, and then he completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.

Dr. Boone has been involved in multiple research studies as chief investigator through Southeastern Clinical Research. He is the former chairman of the Florida Hospital System’s Department of OB/GYN and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
