Frederick Hoover, MD, received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He completed his residency training at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, Mobile, Alabama. He is a lifetime resident of Central Florida and has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in the area since 1984. He now specializes in gynecology only, with a focus on pelvic organ prolapse and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Hoover served as the chair of the Florida Hospital department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1991 to 1992 and again from 2001 to 2002. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Hoover is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
